Three pillars of literature review
Every article begins with the primary literature. We check whether a protocol can be replicated, whether the study is sized to detect a real effect, and whether its findings transfer to a training week someone can actually follow.
When the evidence is thin or contradictory, we say so. A one-rep max is a useful estimate, but it remains an estimate; the method behind it matters.
